My husband and I frequent B&Bs approx 6-8 times a year ranging from cabins, private homes and group settings.
Old Irish has risen to #1 for several reasons. Location is perfect - short, pleasant drive then we end up in a rural setting that is interesing, private and relaxing.
The livestock (ducks, geese, llamas, alpacas and dogs) are delightful.
The private cottage has all you need -- great, comfortable bed, good lighting, micro/refrig, table for eating, tv/dvd, bath, robes, great scenery of the pond and a private porch.
As far as the service, Jim and Rita meet your every need including suggesting and making reservations at excellent restaurants and even providing transportation.
We enjoyed every minute leaving relax, refreshed and ready to return.

Thank you for stopping by our website! We've owned the alpaca ranch since 2004 and added the Bed and Breakfast, The Old Irish Bed & Breakfast and the PaCa RoAd Inn, meeting, event and wedding venue, last August. Since that time we have been sharing our little corner of the world with some of the nicest, most talented and amazingly fun folks in the world!
We do our best to make every guest a new friend and do our try to make them laugh and have a great time as our special guest. Our approach is simple, we provide a private conceigher for every guest. We will make sure every detail is addressed. Our cottages are modeled after 1950s and 60s lake cottages and decorated as such and are very clean; our breakfasts are amazing; the animals are special and are very friendly. We must be making our guests feel good because every rating so far is a 5 Star...whew!
Come be our guest; have your event or wedding here and we will treat you like a VIP and you will laugh the whole time!

Weddings and Meetings are about to get even better here with our new huge Courtyard of the Celtic Fairy for high teas that has been designed especially for outdoor receptions...and it can be tented with a full dance floor and a stage!!!
And there is even more.....the Gazebbo has been relocated to the new Isle of the Heart - a true heart shaped island; covered with flowers and great for photos!
All meeting rooms now have projection equipment and screens; one with a 48" TV screen. We have added breakout rooms, a pool table and a commercial popcorn machine and hot dog maker for snacks!
Leprachans really do live here!
